Americans have always been a little jealous of the British cover of The Lies of Locke Lamora, so, many of themyou will be happy to hear that the overwhelming success of the Scott Lynch’s Gentleman Bastards series and his recent release of Republic of Thieves has promoted Del Rey and Spectra to commission a new cover for book number one.
I really like the artists representation of Locke’s city and his depiction of Lynch’s ‘up-not-out’ style of accommodation. I have the original silver and blue UK cover which is really striking. It’s beloved even more since I got Scott Lynch to sign it.
This cover is awesome, but tragically this cover is on the mass market paperback only. I don’t care for mass market much. I love the green cover along the water there with the silhouette.
