No Brandon Stark or Hodor for Game of Thrones Season 5

Kristian Nairn, the actor who plays Hodor on HBO’s The Game of Thrones, has told fans that neither he nor Isaac Hempstead Wright (Brandon Stark) will be appearing in series five of the show.

Rave-ThronesIt’s news that we imagine will surprise many fans, because I imagine that when we next see Issac/Brandon he is going to look considerably older. As for why, Nairn says that it’s simple:

“We have a season off … a year’s hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books.”

Nairn is using the time wisely though, he is currently touring across Australia on a Game of Thrones themed DJ tour “Rave of Thrones”. Yep. Really!
