Here on Fantasy-Faction we are fans of both cool cover art and cool authors. Today we are lucky to have a little of both! Our once contributor, now successful self-published author, Ben Galley, has a new novel coming out next spring and its cover is AMAZING!
But before we show you the pretties, let’s get to know the author.
Ben Galley is the author of the epic Emaneska Series and a new western fantasy series, the Scarlet Star Trilogy. When he’s not dreaming up lies to tell his readers, Ben works as a self-publishing consultant, helping fellow authors to self-publish and sell their books at his site Shelf Help. Last year his book, Bloodrush, was one of the ten overall finalists in Mark Lawrence’s Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off.
Today we are going to show you the artwork for his newest novel, The Heart of Stone.

I’ve always been a fan of Ben’s covers and this one is no exception. Shawn King has done an amazing job bringing this to life.
The colors give the cover a feeling of ancient skies and galaxies – things outside our comprehensions of time. But this soldier is made of stone, of earth. He may be old, but no older than the lands he fights on and no more foreign than the rocks beneath his feet.
