Well, here it is, the trailer we’ve all been waiting almost 2 years for has finally arrived a few days earlier than planned (due to a leak). That movie is, of course, The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
With S.H.I.E.L.D. destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark attempts to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program with Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence. However, his plan backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth, and it is up to Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with support from Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to stop him from enacting his plans. Along the way, the Avengers encounter the powerful twins, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, as well as the familiar Vision.
That’s one incredible trailer, right?. To see the Avengers back together again and surrounded by so much darkness we’re set to see them overcome has me incredibly excited. Highlights of this particular trailer include: Iron Man’s Hulkbuster armour, the new characters of Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson); and hearing the voice and effects of the new big-bad Ultron, voiced by James Spader.
Oh, and wondering where Thanos – the purple guy we saw at the end of The Avengers 1 and briefly in Guardians of the Galaxy – is? Well, it seems that Marvel are saving him for The Avengers 3 (2018), although there is some speculation that he may creep into Marvel Civil War storyline set to be kicked off in Captain America 3 – that’s Iron Man vs Captain America to look forward to too by the way 🙂
Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theatres May 1, 2015!
There are no strings on me.
Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean I haven’t put them there.
Amazing!
I will never hear that Pinocchio song the same way again. :/
The trailer is incredible. The choice of music/words actually gave me chills.
*eagerly anticipates* 😀
