Mark Lawrence: Can Dark Fantasy Be Too Dark?

Today is our third Grim Gathering in Bristol, England! Hopefully a few of you readers can make it, but I know that many of you around the world will be wishing you could and sending us your best thoughts whilst you sit at home miles away / in work – and thank you for those in advance ^_^

Not wanting to leave you guys out we’ve got another video from last year’s Grim gathering. Today’s video features author of The Broken Empire and The Red Queen’s War trilogies, Mark Lawrence. He answers the question: “when is Fantasy too dark” and “have you ever felt you were crossing the line in your writing?”
