Following the success of his first book in the Powder Mage series, Brian McClellan has been dropping hints that he is working on a side project, a Powder Mage novella. The blurb can be found below, but essentially it is the story of a Powder Mage who chooses to help a young commoner at the risk of her life and reputation; it’s set 35 years before his first book, Promise of Blood.
Of course, if you follow Brian on Twitter of read his blog you probably know all this already… the reason for this post is the exciting news that Brian has decided to tease us all with the release of the awesome cover art:
