Jo Fletcher is one of Britain’s most successful editors, having worked with the likes of Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and Patrick Rothfuss (amongst others) in one of the highest editorial positions attainable at Gollancz, she was given the opportunity by publishing juggernaut, Quercus Books, to start her very own label under her own name. Jo told me that this meant that she had the opportunity to publish a lot of books that she wasn’t able to publish at Gollancz and, as you can see from her own description of her label, her take on genre fiction is a little more unique than the other big 6 London publishers:
Jo Fletcher Books is a specialist science fiction, fantasy and horror imprint, but as Jo’s own personal tastes in fiction have always been so wonderfully eclectic, and as the field of imaginative literature is so incredibly wide, Jo Fletcher Books is going to be as broad a church as possibly, hopefully publishing something for everyone.
Well, if you haven’t seen them already, a whole host of fabulous fantasy, haunting horror and scintillating sci-fi eBooks are going for under £1 in the Jo Fletcher Kindle sale! There’s some great titles there, but I can very much recommend The Emperor’s Knife by Mazarkus Williams… At £0.87 it’s a real steal! 🙂
Thank you for these recent deal posts! I’m loving them even though my to-read list is starting to stack skywards.
I second that. I am enjoying these deals immensely. Thakns very much.
