Fantasy-Faction’s Grim Gathering

We are set to return for our 7th event… And it will be Fantasy-Faction’s Grimmest Gathering yet. So much fun has been had at past events, both by fans and authors, that publishers are trusting us with more authors than ever before……

When and where is it?

The event will be held on Monday 25th September 2017

Who will be there?

The main panel will feature Peter V. Brett who will be on his The Core tour, Joe Abercrombie, Anna Stephens, Mark Lawrence and Peter Newman.

In short: some of fantasy’s biggest names and rising stars.

Oh… and if that’s not enough, we’ve still a few more to announce – maybe O:)

What is going to happen?

The authors will take part in a panel hosted by myself. I will ask questions related to their books and fantasy in general. I will then open it up to the floor for questions too.

Why should I go?

Peter V. Brett, Myke Cole, Mark Lawrence, Joe Abercrombie, and Marc Aplin (Grim Gathering 2014)Grim Gathering events are always fun… We work really hard to make sure that the panels are loaded with the right authors and there’s always a very memorable dynamic. Authors are always keen to hang out with fans after the event too.

Where do I get tickets?

Fantasy-Faction will not make any money from this event. Waterstones policies mean they must charge a ticket price: https://www.waterstones.com/events/grim-gathering-an-evening-with-peter-v-brett/bath

I can’t make it! Will you film it?

We don’t have the equipment to film it, but we are trying to raise some money to vlog this and other Fantasy-Faction events. We’d like to buy an A5100 camera, which would allow us to capture not only the event, but to do some behind the scenes filming and also capture the fun before and after the event with fans.

The camera costs around £500, which is quite a considerable amount.

If you’d like to help make sure this event is captured, you can donate to Fantasy-Faction here:

You can send us a one time donation via PayPal.
