Small Press ‘On Our Radar’ – Call for Monthly Releases

Small-Press-FullFollowing a discussion on Reddit that proved demand, Fantasy-Faction has decided to run a Small Press edition of our monthly ‘On Our Radar‘ post.

What this means is that every month we will be inviting Small Press from around the world to submit up to  three titles that they are releasing for the coming month and that we can showcase to our readers.

In order to take part, each Small Press will need to send an e-mail on a monthly basis to Fantasy-Faction with the following:

  • Subject: SP RADAR – NAME OF SMALL PRESS – MONTH & YEAR TITLES RELEASED
E.g. SP RADAR – BIG MONSTER PRESS – MARCH 2016
  • Up to three titles that are to be released for the following month
  • The name of the author for each title
  • The release date for each title
  • The book’s description as it would appear on Amazon
  • Where the book will be available (links if already able to pre-order)
  • A cover image that is no more than 250kb (we display at 300-500 pixel high, so should be easy enough)

The e-mail should be sent to SPRadar@Fantasy-Faction.com by the 15th of each month prior to the ‘On Our Radar’ feature (i.e. for March’s ‘On Our Radar’ feature, Small Press will need to send their titles over by 15th February).

It goes without saying, but we will say it anyway: Fantasy-Faction was founded to promote good authors and good books. We want to connect readers with authors who can provide them with life-changing stories. Fantasy-Faction will not feature any Small Press we deem as partaking in exploitation of authors. We will also not feature any Small Press that we don’t feel is providing the quality of work our readers would expect from a novel / anthology that they are paying for. I’m sure the hardworking Small Press will read that, nod and support the reasons why that is the case.

Thank you and I look forward to receiving titles from Small Press from around the world and delivering readers an even more extensive look into what the genre has to offer.
