The 50th anniversary episode will look both to the past and the future of the show. The tenth Doctor, David Tennant, and his companion, Billit Piper, will return alongside the Eleventh, Matt Smith. Note: the new Doctor, Peter Capaldi, won’t be in the show… His debut is set to come after the 2013 Christmas special. There’s also much speculation about other Doctors appearing, but the BBC has kept this very, very quiet. What about the villains? Well, both the Daleks and the Zygons will be there… causing trouble. But, really, that’s all we know… and perhaps that’s a good thing 🙂
Anyway, The BBC have confirmed the transmisison time of 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor as 7.50pm (GMT) around the World on November 23rd 2013…
Around the world, that equates to:
2.50pm in New York
11.50am in Los Angeles
6.50am on Sunday 24 in Sydney
If you fancy a bit more than just a ‘TV’ experience: rejoice, because it has been revealed that fans around the world can enjoy the episode on the big screen, with UK fanatics able to view it in 3D at selected cinemas… check here to see if your local cinema is included.
