3400 words for session 1 today, 85K in total. After dinner and coffee, I'll try to make it to 90K before the sun rises.

Well, I actually managed more than 3000 words today myself, and I'm pretty damn pleased with it. Normally, with my damnable attention span, I'm satisfied with 1000.
I'll notify your next of kin... that you sucked!

365, but the first 365 of chapter 1. All downhill from here!

Third time working on chapter 1 of this damnable story. Its the charm, right? No more changes! None!

6.5k last night. Now up to 116k on the novel. Still on track to finish this weekend, and I feel pretty good about how the book came out.

1,748 words. Not my best day, but I did have less than two hours to devote to writing before work.

4900 words. I did brief outlines of my chapters before I wrote them, and it really seemed to help me get more words down because I didn't have to think about what was going to happen while I was writing.

1,994 today, bring my WiP to exactly 72,000 words. Half way there!

4900 words.

Wow! Epic day my friend.

Editing.  Forever.

Maybe I need a thread about how many words I *deleted* today....

Started a new project today after long procrastination...some would say 34 years of procrastination.

Anyways 1082 words into my brand new WIP.  Hopefully I can keep up a daily update, I'm aiming for at least 1000 words a day.

Yesterday: 5081 words.

Today: 5516 words.

I think I may have finally found the writing method that works best for me. I'm something in between an outliner and a seat-of-the-pants writer. I need to have a general idea where my book is going, and apparently it helps me to take just a few minutes to plan out a chapter right before writing it. That way, I still have the joy of discovery, but I also get the structure of an outline.

I've written fucking nothing. I wrote a story in my dream last night/early this morning.

That totally counts and if you say otherwise we'll have words.

Yesterday and today I wrote 6k on a new espionage sci-fi novel, a sequel to my previous book (which I have yet to sell). I shouldn't be doing that, but the newest character is just so damn fun.

Didn't finish my fantasy WIP this weekend as I'd hoped. Shooting for sometime during the week.

2,400 today. I've definitely noticed increased output since I got this Scrivener iOS app... having my manuscripts with me on the go makes a bigger difference than I would have thought. I used to just make notes in the notepad, but for some reason this changes things for me in a big way. Hope it keeps up, because I have a long way to go!

Didn't write much today, but I did get through Grammerly's 1100 critical errors in my manuscript. Le sigh.

I also reactivated my webpage: www.gemcuttertales.com so you can see my face and my paltry attempts at a web presence.
