First draft! Or, as I like to call it, Draft Zero. Almost sounds like some kind of fancy beer.

1031 so far today.

First draft of novel:
1,014 yesterday of a new chapter 2, with a new POV character.

Now 1,838 words, and feeling I'm starting to get a hang for the new kid.
I'll write more later.

boo.  only 278 new words.

i have a fixed amount of time in the morning and let myself be distracted by someone's (to be nameless, but...  brrrr, it's cold in this here doctor office) question about hooks and if you need them early in your writing.

Uh huh. I see. Little chilly in your office ain't it?  ;)

(Which reminds me, I still need to write up a reply to all those thoughts.)

Got a combined 951 over the past two nights, and I'm hoping I can churn out 1K tonight to finish up this chapter maybe. Probably going to stretch to 3K though.

4,000 words. Found a great cafe in Richmond while my son and friends rode rides at King's Dominion. Perfect escape and great coffee.

Holy cow donald, that's amazing. Send me some of your productivity!

Churned out 919 tonight. Finished up the chapter, one that came out of nowhere for this rewrite draft, but eh, I enjoyed it. Fleshed out some characters and the plot a good bit. Now for an edit and a quick shift to my short story contest sub later this week. Hopefully.
