Wow! What a great reason to be MIA from the forum.

Kallor shrugged. 'I've walked this land when the T'lan Imass were but children. I've commanded armies a hundred thousand strong. I've spread the fire of my wrath across entire continents, and sat alone upon tall thrones. Do you grasp the meaning of this?'

'Yes' said Caladan Brood. 'You never learn'

Hey @CameronJohnston, which publisher? Or is that the 'still secret' part?
And can you tell us just a bit of the plot, or who's the main character?

My next dark fantasy book is currently out on submission to editors...during all of this...with publishing staff and editors getting furloughed. It's been...interesting...so far.

Awesome.

Dark fantasy as in grimdark? Is there a working title?

I'm not sure how much I should be saying right now, other that it's not a continuation but an entirely new thing (I'm sure it will be clarified with the publisher shortly). It's dark, but not full on nihilistic grimdark if that makes any sense.
