Here are some maps I made in Wonderdraft for the world of my novel The Heron Kings. The first one is a wider view of the countries around the Argovani peninsula, where the story takes place. The second one is zoomed in a bit on the main area of action. I don't know why they're so big, I spent half an hour trying to fix it but I can't.

It turned out that just dropping the map onto the page in black and white made it look horrible, so I redid one specifically to look good in monochrome. This is the one that appears in the front of the book:

Here's a blog post about it: https://ericlewis.ink/another-map-of-greater-argovan/

Hi, I fixed your huge images :)
It's just a question of adding "width" to the image tag.

Thanks, but Wonderdraft makes it easy to make nice maps with very little skill  :)

Ooohh... I love this thread :D I love maps and have made quite a few over the years, including during my RP'ing days haha.

I still haven't made one for my WIP, though I have a clear idea in my head what it looks like.

I'll share it here when I finally get around to making it LOL.

Loving these maps! I haven't head of Wonderdraft before, but that looks very cool and very easy indeed.

Look at this one, it's so different!
Proof that you don't have to have a super-detailed map to be interesting and make the person want to read the book
