I can't see those...  :(
Me neither.  :(
There must be something wrong with Finland.  ??? ;)

Maybe it's Google photos that is the problem? I linked them using the boards html and avoided Google's short webaddys, but maybe it's just general google photo suckage.
Yeah could be, google does some weird stuff with their images!

yah.  i couldn't see them either.  i had to pull out the links and look at them by themselves.  so, pardon the epic links:

I did that too, but the links take me to the google accounts sign-in page. Should I be logged-in to a google account to see the pictures?  :-\
I don't think I'm going to do that.  :(

Seems to be Quiz season - here's one for all fantasy map lovers. I know we have a few experts here to make up for my appalling score of 3. Must do better. :(

7. I got all six that I had read correct, plus one random guess out of all the others. :)

I got 5. Ouch, that was difficult. Somehow I even got GRRM's map wrong!

At least I got the Gentleman Bastards and the Earthsea Cycle right...

4. But I guessed on many as I haven't read most of those books.

This thread reminds me of my half completed map forgotten in the my documents folder.

I was doing great with gimp, creating layers and making rivers, mountain ranges, then I tried to erase something and realized I had merged all my layers a long time ago and would have to undo most of it to continue.

Meh.

Of those that I could know because I know the books I got 100%, without ever having seen a map of them before. Which is 2 of the questions.
Clues on the maps allowed me to even identify two more that I've never read.

The rest are mostly books I've never heard even existed.

I have 6. Fun part is that I knew only one of them for sure. The rest of them was like "there are no places that I know from a b and d. That must be a map of c.'
I also guessed the one with 'Eartsea'. :p

6 for me too. And I haven't read any of the books (well apart from two or three chapters of one of them).

Not quite sure if this calls for the cool or the embarrassed smiley. I think I'm going to go with:  8)

One I kind of knew, two I "deduced", and rest I guessed. Oh, and I really should have known one more (as I have seen the map).

I started my map years ago using Microsoft Paint and have been continuously adding onto it so I'm still using MS Paint and it's awful. Still, I think I make it work, even if my map resembles earth a little more than I'd like.
