Dakar second Prophecy right in front Of Arithon, I'm glad the reader doesn't know the prophecy along with Dakar makes it more mysterious

Not fond of Lady Talith don't find her a believable character

Can see Lysaer character has now changed after him smashing up Elshian Lyranthe he has gone insane with hate, why doesn't the Fellowship deal with him or do there still need him for the black rose prophecy?

The Fellowship exorcism on Lysaer "once the creature was human"

Arithon meets Halliron at long last

Enjoyed the Koriani scene with the character scans of the Princes.

According to some,* heroic deaths are admirable things

* Generally those who don't have to do it.Politicians and writers spring to mind

I agree. Feels like another self-fulfilling prophecy, though.
I do think that the Fellowship shouldn't have been as powerless/accepting of the things that happened. They must have mastered dire crises before.

Why not?

Couldn't they at least have tried to explain to him why he is feeling that way or put a block into him (like Arithon manages himself)?

I think roughly at this place I understood that the book's title wasn't the War of Light and Shadow against the Mistwraith and that the Mistwraith's curse wasn't blocking the sun but making the brothers hate each other.

This will become interesting later on. I'm curious if the stone flask isn't safe where they put it and if Asandir will reach it in time.

Yep. And soon he will play his lyranthe... I wonder if he forgot his oath to that bard about asking Halliron to become his apprentice.

Yeah, we get it. Arithon has the deepest eyes on all the worlds. ;)
Very interesting that they both have two royal 'gifts'. I wonder if the Fellowship knows this.

I don't know what Arithon's strategy is but making the barbarians doubt him doesn't seem to be a good idea...
