XII- Conquest- XIII Etarra
« on: February 16, 2016, 11:35:01 AM »
I really love Kharadmon and Luhaine banter to each other reminds me of the Malazan duos we have had

The battle against the Desh-Thire was awesome Loved the tension and how there captured it in the Kieling tower

Ekk Lysaer, Wraiths have invaded him and his seeing past events bring back the hate from the red desert

Found all the scenes with Governor Morfett amusing

The scene with Arithon and the children with the shadow vessel was lovely

Halliron the master bard has made an appearance, will Arithon still become a bard?

According to some,* heroic deaths are admirable things

* Generally those who don't have to do it.Politicians and writers spring to mind

Yep. Do you think they will become corporeal again someday?

I agree. The descriptions were a bit circuitous and repetitive from time to time, though. The repetitiveness is something I've noticed in other places too. No idea why Wurts feels she has to tell the readers again and again...

I would have liked it more if the coming war between light and shadow would have had internal reasons and not an alien being which possessed Lysaer (that's how it looks atm, no idea if it really will be like this at this point).

Yep. What a bunch of dicks. It's a bit sad that they apparently manage to drive Arithon from the city. - If the boy's sighting is true.

Absolutely. I liked how it made Lysaer think. And his conversation with Eliara.

I think the struggle between bard and king will accompany us for quite a while...

How old are the Fellowship mages? Immortal? If Asandir crowned every human king since the beginning of humanities rule...
When they said that the Fellowship chose humans with traits like compassion, justice, ... I somehow assumed that it were the sorcerer's predecessors, not Asandir, Sethivir et al...
