Not to get all post-necromantic... I didn't want to do anything too precipitous like make a new discussion thread, but Scott Lynch seems to have finished a manuscript for Thorn of Emberlain, and I am mildly excited by this.

It's funny, the series came to mind the other day so I figured I'd go pick up the next book. I was very confused that it wasn't out yet, especially since I came across discussions from 2017 by fans who were upset that it had been delayed. ;D Then I spotted this news. Heh, I guess I'll wait a little longer. It's not like there's a lack of things on my reading list.  ;)

Well earlier this month amazon cancelled my pre-order and List Thorn of Emberlain as unavailable. I shall not be holding my breath for a release date. Draft to book can be a lengthy process.

I saw his post through facebook too and was thinking about the response everyone here will ahve.  ;D I guess in the Scott Lynch, Patrick Rothfuss, and George R. R. Martin race Mr. Lynch seemed to finally be making some headway.

No-draft to book is a longer one though.  ;)
