Though I clearly have a hard choice ahead re getting it quick or getting it in paperback to match the rest of my collection. Why you gotta do this to me, publishers?

My rule of thumb is if I buy a hardback to a series I already have in paperback I must replace said paperbacks with hardback copies and do my damnedest to get them signed. There are authors I only buy in hardback now and I am accumulating a fair collection of signed first editions. The Latest are I replaced Snorri Kristjansson's books with new hardbacks and will be stalkingattending an event he is at until I get them signed.

Good news, I was hoping that was US date and it would be out in August. But I will wait because this is one series I like in hardback because it is awesome. Ben has been cruising down the Rhine and Twitter is trying to persuade him to get Peter on exchange with Interpol so he could meet Rhine gods and goddesses.  Who knows?

Rhine maidens have been mentioned a couple of times in passing through the series. I am sure they will put in an appearance at some point.

I don't think the series was published in hardcover in Australia before Furthest Station. Was it in the UK?

They were and I have them and the paperbacks which are signed. I need to get the first 4 hardbacks signed to have the set. I also have 2 hardbacks of Rivers of London as I picked one up for 99p the other day.

Well I picked up my book did the Christmas market and had lunch in the Salamander. Traffic was a nightmare and Bath was full but the first 50 pages were well worth it.
