New Crobuzon. (Which is supposedly coming out soon.) Um... oooh, or Pierre Pevel's musketeer books. Swashbuckling and dragon-slaying? Yes.

I've played with the idea of using the world from the Rose of the Prophet for a table-top style RPG game--it's hard not to be tempted considering the whole concept for the world's theology was based on a d20.

That's a reeeeeeally lovely idea.

Did you ever see the Darksword RPG - "Darksword Adventures"? Oddly, I just remember the gamebook being a more enjoyable story than the trilogy. Can't remember the rules at all.

I had not heard of the Darksword RPG. I will have to look that up.

I've talked myself into getting a copy again...although how can I resist for a penny?

Oops!  Misunderstood the question.

Any world from a fantasy book series?  I'd love to play or run in a Deatheater 'evil campaign' in the world of Harry Potter.  Can't wait to teach those muggles and mudbloods a lesson. ^_^

Out of left field, but Tanya Huff's Keeper Series.  All the creatures from any mythology and realm you want taken with a grain of salt and a dash of humor.
