I think a lot of people don't visit this thread as there's a load of one stop posters who you never see again. I wouldn't want to read a novel from someone whose only posted a couple of times especially if those  are just ads for their book. I'm surprised there's been no takers for your book yet through. Maybe one of the other active writers here will give it a go.

Do you own thread , don't let your post get lost in here.

This came out today:

“Combat, myth and folklore collide in Batchelder’s first book in the Immortal Treachery series, Steel, Blood, Fire, a rollicking fun and seriously addictive read.” – Chanticleer Reviews

And this on Friday, from Noxwrite Review:

"The most enchanting thing about S t e e l, B l o o d , & F i r e is certainly Batchelder’s writing. He creates beautiful sentences, poetic but at the same time engaging and yet so understandable. This characteristic is not so easy to find in contemporary indie novels, but Batchelder masters it. He has an individual voice and it distinguishes this author from the rest."

So, who do I have to boink around here to get a read?

So, your book is published, but you don't have many reviews. You've got the blurbs that other authors have stamped on to your cover, but that's about the extent of it.

If you're looking for people to review your novel, go no further! This thread is the perfect place to look for folks willing to read and review your book. Take the information below, reply to this thread, and someone will contact you if they're interested. You can then edit your post later on, and let people know if you run out of copies for review, or if you have new books releasing soon.

There, he discovers a secret the King has hidden away for years. His presence will set off a chain of events that will change the fate of the kingdom.

Back Cover Blurb:
Lord Richard Fitzwilliam, Baron of Bodmin, looked out the window, silently gazing down onto the well-worn streets of Winchester. He was deep in thought, and though his eyes looked outward, he ignored what they saw. He stood stroking his beard and thinking, not at all aware of the outside world. He remained still for several more moments, then made his decision. He turned from the window and strode to the door, opening it. Outside stood a young woman, clad in the glittering armour of a knight of the realm; the coat of arms of Bodmin emblazoned on her breastplate. As was typical in the Palace, she wore no helmet and carried no shield, but her sword hung from her belt. He knew that she was more than capable of using it.

"Beverly," he said in a kindly voice, "come inside a moment, I need to talk to you."

"Yes Father," she replied dutifully. She stepped into the room as her father stepped back. She looked as though she knew something was about to happen, and closed the door behind her, turning to face him. "What is it?"

Greetings fantasy fanatics!

I have a few books I can offer up for review. Why a few, you ask? You see, until January 1st, I was published through a mid-sized press. However, I desired more control over my destiny, so I negotiated the rights back and am in the process of relaunching my epic fantasy series in preparation for the release of a NEW prequel in February. I now have fresh new covers, updated blurbs, and newly polished content ready to roll.

The first book of the Runes of Issalia trilogy releases tomorrow, while the sequel and final books follow later in the month. Info on the first book is included below. Anyone who reads The Buried Symbol and is interested in reading the others in exchange for HONEST reviews need only let me know. I will note that I can economically supply nearly endless digital copies, but print copies carry the expense of printing AND shipping, so I will require extra motivation (kneeling and begging come to mind) to supply that format.

Name: Jeffrey L. Kohanek
Website URL:
Novel Title: The Buried Symbol
Genre: Coming of Age / Epic Fantasy (think something between Mistborn and The Name of the Wind)
Length: 328 pages
Format: eBook (any device) or PDF
Back Cover Blurb:

Buried away for centuries, a forgotten magic lurks...waiting to return

They tell Unchosen, "Accept your fate and you'll be rewarded in the next life." The threat of execution is their recourse.

Rejecting his role as an outcast, Brock risks his life and obtains a false rune, marking him a member of the Empire's ruling class. Under a veil of deception and backed by natural talent, the teen then schemes his way into a school where the Empire’s future leaders are trained.

Within the Academy, a legendary school of magic, science, politics, and combat, he uncovers secrets kept hidden for centuries - secrets that expose cracks in the foundation of Empire society. Among his discoveries is a long forgotten magic, powerful and dangerous - a magic he is determined to wield. Caught between his continued charade and a desire to tame his frightening new abilities, one misstep on either front could destroy him.

How Many Copies Available for Reviewers: Ten for now. More if you are genuinely excited by the genre/blurb.
Stipulations: Post an honest review somewhere and maybe tell others if you like the book.

Novel Title: A Perilous Beginning: Secrets of the Eldarii
Genre: Fantasy

I shall say that there are 88,000 words in this book, condensed in a way that it is barely over 300 pages.
Format: Ebook or Paperback
Back Cover Blurb:
"She's the Key to everything."
"Eldarii... can you imagine what they'd know?"
"I thought I was done with it all... but now I'm back in the thick of it..."

They were thought to be extinct. However, one has been spotted on the fringes of the Musharii Empire. And everyone wants to get their hands on her. The Eldarii race are the oldest and most mysterious of all of Terra's creatures. Many seek to unlock what they have hidden away.

Nearby, the Immortals, survivors of the fallen City-State of Rakahm, have made a new home for themselves in the forest of Lorzin on the borders of the Empire where all eyes are now transfixed. Within can be found the Immortal named Sechul Sagnar.

Sechul never wanted to be a Hero. He gave up his former identity in favour of being a wayward traveler. But he will have to come out of retirement in order to protect his new home.

Pyke is a simple street orphan in the fringe village of Delstan. Nobody expected he'd go anywhere in life. The kid has dreams though. Dreams that could surpass an Empire's.

These two unlikely Heroes must team up if they are to hope to survive what is to come.

Experience the Beginning of a Saga. The events that started it all. The journey of an Immortal, a Human, and an Eldarii who must stand together or fall to the wayside. The Emperor will not stop until he has his Prize.

This is a story of Legends. A story of how Heroes are not just born...

They are Made.

Novel Title: The Victory Perspective
Genre: Dystopian Fantasy (religious/sacrilegious themes)
Length: 82,000 words
Format: Ebook or Paperback
Back Cover Blurb:

A story you know, just not as you know it.

Five individuals find themselves in a wondrous paradise with the perfect climate and boundless resources. But when one develops remarkable powers, he hatches a plan to take control of his comrades and create his perfect world by any means necessary.

Beneath the veneer of life lies the darkest truth of all. Perspective is blinding.

In The Victory Perspective, author E.J. Kellett will change the way you view the world. Turning the classic creation story on its head, this thrilling and thought-provoking dystopian novel pushes the boundaries of our preconceived notions.

"I lived in that place with Alpha, there were five of us. When I gained the courage to stand up to him, he banished me to a place that is worse than anything in your world. I am there now, stuck for eternity to suffer at the hands of a self-proclaimed God."

How Many Copies Available for Reviewers: The easiest way for me to give you a book is to gift the e-book from amazon.

Open to how many available, happy to give away 10 or so copies, but if the interest is there, I can do more. I feel that with this book, I just need to get it in the hands of the right people to start discussion. This is not for everyone, it covers some themes that devoutly religious people would find offensive.

You can get in touch with me via email and I will arrange a copy for you.

Back Cover Blurb:

Then a mysterious stranger from a neighboring country contacts her using ascard. He needs help escaping his prison so he can bring an end to his emperor's oppressive rule or die trying. His unshakable devotion to his cause and the passion hidden behind his cool arrogance move her to help him at the risk of being branded a traitor herself.

When the politics of society bring them together a second time, Indigo decides to use her growing powers to help him fight his war. If only she dared fight for her own future with such passion. Perhaps she can find the courage to do so by helping the man she has fallen for win his revolution. She might have exactly the power he needs to succeed.

How Many Copies Available for Reviewers: 10 for now (possibly more if I get more interest)
Stipulations: I would really love to increase Amazon reviews on this book. It is getting great reviews, just not a ton of them. I would also be delighted to have reviews in other places, but cross-posting to Amazon would be greatly appreciated.

The cover can be a little misleading. It looks more romancy/paranormal. I'm working on comissioning a new cover that better represents the book. The book is traditional epic fantasy with a unique magic system, war, politics and a some romance between the main characters. If you want to preview the first chapter, it is available in full on my website at
