Hi Folks,
Wow...a debut post is almost as nervy as a debut novel. I'm overjoyed to introduce CrossOver (book one in the CrossOver series). After narrowing down a bucket list that included, action, occult horror and very dark humour, all I had to do was shoehorn the whole thing into the storyline. One near breakdown and a mountain of antacids later and I've finally cracked it.

I think things went pretty well as Kirkus Reviews called it "A promising, deeply satisfying debut full of action, wit and heart."

Any feedback is appreciated as long as its from honest and genuine people.

Please check out my Goodreads profile and friending me is more than welcome too. There are some great reviews posted from other fans of my stuff.

Hi Paul

Welcome to the site. Its a fun place to be but may actually prevent you getting any writing done.
I would post up in http://fantasy-faction.com/forum/introductions/say-hi-i'm-new-thread/
and say hi as you will get a better response than posting in this section.

All the best

Simon

I went to check the description, and the one in Goodreads is bigger than the one from Amazon, but it's lacking punctuation and capitalization. Thought you would like to know!

when a mystical warning from a vulnerable girl helps len doyle avoid a bloodbath, he wants answers. if there's one thing a professional killer doesn't like, it's loose ends. in return for her secrets she wants shelter and protection. but in hindsight, perhaps doyle should have found out what she needed protecting from. after being dragged into a fight with a supernatural horror, doyle realises he will have to learn a few hard lessons if he is going to keep his new friend, briar, alive for much longer.

Hi,
Strange news indeed. When I bring it up on Goodreads it seems fine. The long description that you copied and pasted reads like the Smashwords catalogue description. They have strict criteria that needs to be met before your book qualifies for premium status. One of them is no capitals. I cant find that description on Goodreads. Little bit odd.

I clicked on a link that told me a friend wanted to read it and appeared like that.

Now I manually searched and it's fine. That was odd.

But its great that you let me know about it. Sometimes a little nasty like that could really put a potential reader off and the author might never hear about it. I truly hope your friend enjoys it.

Thanks.

Hey guys it comes up like this in in my to-read list because I chose the print version on Goodreads. Will change it to the Kindle one until they get it right. ;)
