I don't know how you get on with UF but I think you will like the books and get the humour. Besides you can then drag the family round in the rain looking for non touristy bits of London described in the books.

In my e-mail today The Hanging Tree should be in bookshops on 3 November in UK. may only be hardback but might be worth keeping an eye on libraries. Also quite a few venues for a Ben Aaronovitch signing tour, including Waterstones Bristol @Rostum

I imagine arguments being swallowed back, wine spit in glasses and gurgling up bottles. I imagine my ring sliding off my finger, Bobby's lips hot on mine for the first time again, and then unknown to me.

I got Nightingale as well. I wonder what you'd have to answer to get Molly.

Took the plunge and got Molly, which is awesome. After I tried and tried to see who else would come up and found Beverley, Peter, Nightingale and Lesley are there, but I don't think Lady T is in there at all. 8)

@Lady_Ty free audio short on audible

Thank you very much for that Rostum. The link took me to my own cart, but searched Ben Aaronovitch and found  A Rare and Cunning Device. That is a welcome treat for today . :)

Sorry if St Mary's didn't come up to expectations, it is lightweight, but hoped it would amuse you with the history interest. I found it at a time when ill and stuck in bed, needed a distraction, so could be classed as easy comfort reading.
