Brave New Worlds Exhibition, Richmond-Upon-Thames

I'm lucky to have one of my paintings, Awakening, included in this exhibition which is currently on at the Riverside Gallery in Richmond, until 5th November. "Brave New Worlds" explores artistic interpretations of utopias and dystopias, so quite a lot of literary influence in there.

Awakening was inspired by the HG Wells novel, When the Sleeper Awakes, which blew me away when I first read it earlier this year.

Anybody in the area or passing through - it's well worth a look. Some excellent and very varied artwork on display, and some very unusual interpretations of the theme.

What with this and the British Library exhibition both having been on at the same time, feels like a good time to be a fan of SF&F!
