Sshh, we don't talk about chapter 27.

And whoops, my bookshop ping was about a different preorder (Donnelly's Armistice, yay, such pretty, much deco, wow) but I'm sure Cam's book will be along any day now. *camps outside the bookstore*

...I actually am camped outside the bookstore but that's only because there's wifi in the cafe here and it's childcare/writing day...

I had to tell my local bookstore to special order it

You guys are awesome :)

Make that last one Chapters 27 to 35

Never do any thinking on a book launch day, that's my advice!

It arrived :D
I'll start reading it as soon as I finish the current book.

Just finished “Six of Crows”, which was fun.

Something went pear-shaped with my pre-order. I ordered through Dymocks (biggest chain bookstore in Australia) but every time I go in and ask about it, the frowns at the computer get deeper. Now I've been told that they have a hundred-odd orders pending, but there's no stock available until September. So ah-well-never-mind on the read-along for me! :(

Aw what? That's pants! Not the hundred-odd orders, which is great, but the lack of stock. If you want to PM me the details @cupiscent I will pass it on to Angry Robot to check out. They should definitely have stock already.

I have bought this book I’m a bit nervous to start reading the novel  as what if I don’t like it? I give it a chance and if I don’t nt like it will be in good company with Sanderson and Hobb haha.

I hope I love it through.

Yeah, I'm always scared of reading books by friends or people I know and afraid I won't like it and then have to say it - but I'm sure they understand that we don't like all genres and that doesn't mean it's a bad book altogether!

It was good, but the second was even better imo.
