Thought the sea creature battle went on a little bit too long I prefer more of  the intrigue and mystery myself.

Finger of kolkan interesting.

Newspaper article on Shara I found amusing.

ohh Vinya ripping into Shara .

I really like how the author incorporates the backstory like the journal of Efrem Pangyui

We get to see how the old Bulikov looked like, Shara pockets the dark metal which kills the Divines  I’m sure that will come in handy.

Ahh so here are the steampunk flying vessels 😛

Mystery meeting point on a bridge how very spyie

Kaj a blessed?

*trying not to start it again with 'wow'*

Wow, that battle! The old city! The knowledge! The brother! :D
To be fair, I got this last one - when he first appeared on the banks of the river and Shara commented how he was dressed differently I thought "I bet it's the brother!" (I never see the surprises coming, so I was happy to get one right).
The ships! The magic carpet! Tne Warehouse (or was that in the last section?)!

The idea that people created the gods instead of vice-versa is super interesting.

Vynia's now showing her true colours, argh!

I think I have to go to the library tomorrow pick up the other 2 books, hehe

All this too - yes, that was my reaction too "ah, the flying ships are here", and about the last one: oh I hadn't thought of that, but it might make a lot of sense!

Say wow as much as you like  ;D

Yes I liked that we found out the people created the Gods too ...

Spoiler for Hiden:
but why were  there no Gods in Shara Homeland. Unless no one has seen them yet hiding.

Actually due to changing work schedules, I'm going today :D

People in my 'council area' do like their fantasy: the library has got 3 copies of City of Blades and 5 copies of City of Miracles, hehe (but just one of Stairs, which is strange)

I did not finish 4th part but I could not resist reading your posts :(
Kallor shrugged. 'I've walked this land when the T'lan Imass were but children. I've commanded armies a hundred thousand strong. I've spread the fire of my wrath across entire continents, and sat alone upon tall thrones. Do you grasp the meaning of this?'

'Yes' said Caladan Brood. 'You never learn'

Just finished 4th part. This was much better than the 3rd.

When I first read about something locked (interrogation scene), I thought it was one of the Divines.

Reading about Sigrud is always nice.

Sigrud saying lines like "Oh, boy" makes him more humane. I like that.

Vinya is such a badass character. She knows exactly how to punish people.

Efrem saying Hi to Shara was sad and nice. Interesting notes.

Lots of other stuff I cannot remember due to partial reads.

Let's move on to the final part :)
