Just finished the last book of 6 of the Share/Solar Clipper series by Nathan Lowell. A free £$ audio book from podiobook.com site. Listened to it on my work commute and throughly enjoyed it :)

I have Peter F. Hamilton novels on my read-to-list.

Sci-Fi, Horror, YA & Urban Fantasy Books / Re: Zombies? - Recomendations

I loved World War Z found the reportage format of the book made it feel so 'real' and just gripped me!

I'd recommend:

Patient Zero - Jonathan Mayberry, high-tech zombie thriller
Dead Mech - Jake Bible, mechanized zombies stomping around post-apocalypse wasteground

A creative-type co-worker created Mii characters of our office. I use it most places these days.

New version of Kindle OS 3.1 support for 'real' pages instead of the annoying/unhelpful Location ;)

More info here on how to get and install the early preview release

Not upgraded yet might have a go tonight :)

Plus I love books with a map.

Do you get this map in Kindle? I don't think so?  :(

For sometime now a number of the authors I follow have been releasing ebooks only and I've read them on my laptop/PC; which I never really enjoyed. Since owning a K3 I love the Whispernet delivery; just one-click and boom it's there on your reader! I've had a few very big disappointments in the Kindle store with regards to the price of ebook compared to the price of paperback, though this should settle down over the next year (I hope). iPod - music as to e-reader - books :)

Good job I don't pick books based upon their covers, especially the rawk look - that's why I joined this forum! ;)

I'm really enjoying it so far and didn't find it too slow as others have. It's probably the largest book on my Kindle as I can read pages and the progress percentage figure does not change lol

I tried text-to-speech for the car commute last night and hated it! The monotone voice sounded just like my chemistry teacher's voice and I failed that subject! lol

I can read my Kindle in bed, not sure I could do that with an iPad  :D

Looking on Goodreads it seems everyone in FF has already started this book already! Tut tut ;)

lol remind me not to pay attention to Amazon reviewers ;)

After a couple of weeks of Kindle ownership I'm beginning to appreciate e-ink #justsaying

Truncated realname. Most of my nicknames I've had over the years have not been too flattering ;) lol

If I'm not a big fan of Harry Potter is this book for me?

Wow Overlord you don't hang about! I'd better go and have a lookey :)

Pornokitch - I like the idea of putting your profile name/date/location.
