Had a turbulent week but things are calming down again here.

My musician got me some new sound for my project and personally I've been working on a painting for myself and I did a quick side jig for a friend as a thank you.
As for writing... Uuuuhm. *runs off*

Mam is for ministers ;D

No it isn't, it's obviously Dutch.

I have a beko oven, it's a pretty decent brand.
Ofc not sure about your specific model but beko isn't the worst.

For all the people who missed me. It's not as interesting as some other folks here but eh :p

Personal life:
Working on my house. Aka, acquiring furniture, maintenance and renovation. Gardening. (looking forward to a bountiful harvest)

I got a promotion at work as well. So there's that.

I've been working on my lorebook/rpg book combo.
DMed several small campaigns within the setting and system. Got positive feedback so yay for that.
Improved my painting skills as well.

a belated Birthday to @Henry Dale. you need to post moremate!

I'm just here lurking :p (and trying to write)

@Nighteyes, we're still waiting for the photos ;)

I've just bought the plane ticket/booked hotel to go to the Algarve in September, I'm surprising my parents who will be there then!

Now I need to decide a place in Europe to go around June. I wanted to visit FF people, but I've visited Berlin just a couple of years ago, won't go visit @xiagan, and met @Henry Dale 4 years ago. I don't think there are more...
I'm undecided between going back to Amsterdam (after 18 years) or go to Munich. Or somewhere else... I like big cities with lots of museums, art galleries and a castle/palace or two, hehe (and I've been in almost all capitals already)

You could always visit again ¯\_(?)_/¯

Apparently, chocolate, alcohol, grapes, and xylitol are both toxic to both dogs and cats. I mean, just some extra knowledge...  8)
*plants chocolate bar in the hopes of it sprouting a tree.*

I've watched "Inside out" today, and it's such a great movie - I found it a super way to describe depression, to use as a starting point with children, to talk about your feelings.
I'm discovering that there are many animated films that aren't Disney and address great important issues :)
Inside out is pixar though which is 100% Disney these days. No escape from the Mouse :p

Maquia, when the promised flower blooms: Call your mom after watching this. It's a fantasy movie that plays your emotional strings.

Paprika: better than inception.

Say, quick question: Would anyone here buy that a 100 year old cavalry sabre could be taken off a mantelpiece and used as an effective weapon?
Can an old weapon still be effectively used: yup, but it's not very sharp anymore. Still, bludgeoning someone's face with a heavy steel sabre should work. Can confirm from personal experience, dropped it on my toe. :'(

Can it be taken off the mantelpiece: that depends, a lot of ornamental weapons would be safely strapped tight to prevent it from falling and skewering someone. See the scene in the original pirates of the carribean if you want an example in media.

Yesterday I finally watched "In Bruges", that I'd recorded some months ago.

Apart from the film itself, which is a mixture of very funny/violent, I really enjoyed seeing the city again, all the places where I was in 2015 - and where I met @Henry Dale :D
(summonable ;))

And it has all those quaint little alcoves...

Happy Birthday @everyone!

Got dice, a mortar and pestle, screwdrivers and that's it so far. I'm expecting more home decoration and utilities.

Merry Christmas \o/
