Is ME (!) tomorrow -- 97/17/19. Drop by and ask me anything you like about my writing, my grimdark series, skeletons in my closet!

How did it go?

It was fun. Not overly busy, but it's always nice to chat with folks. And Nicholas Eames dropped by to ask a question, which was nice of him.

Can't even remember if I'm on this list, but here's my recent interview with sword-maker and author Michael Tinker Pearce:

Indie!

I don't mean to be self-serving, but I've got both a gay and a bi character (both major characters) in my series. What I'm saying is, it's not the unusual anymore, is it?

Christopher's sense of it is that the industry prefers an English accent unless it's something that clearly needs an American accent, like The Grapes of Wrath or To Kill a Mockingbird. I'm actually a trained and experienced voice actor myself, but I know when to get out of my own way!

Merry Christmas, one and all. May your holiday be peaceful and full of love!

My only two non-spoiler thoughts are:

1. Loved the salt. Literally and figuratively brilliant.
2. Laura Dern can ruin any scene she's in.
