Hello everyone,

I'm looking to get some more reviews on my novel: Black Redneck vs. Space Zombies.

This means you're in luck. I'm giving away 10 copies of the Kindle version in exchange for an honest review.

Here's the link to the book: http://www.amazon.com/Black-Redneck-Space-Zombies-Adventure-ebook/dp/B00EEJ3KDC

If it sounds like something you'd be willing to read and review, let me know. Just message me here.

This book is often overlooked, but I'm surprised GRRM's fame hasn't brought it back into the limelight. I hope some movie producer somewhere is pitching at this moment.

Fantasy Book & Author Discussion / Re: STEVEN ERIKSON + GEORGE R.R. MARTIN

I couldn't disagree more. I thought Martin's Sand-Kings is one of the best Sci-Fi stories I've ever read and his Skin Trade story is one that I've always wished would get turned into a movie, but it only got turned into a graphic novel. That's a start.

Martin has written an awful lot of short stories and some of them may not stand the test of time, but most of the work collected in DreamSongs I found a lot of fun.

I do always respect opinions that go against the crowd, but this time I just can't agree.

I'm a self-pubbed author who takes cover design very seriously. I wrote a blog post on cover creation.

Hope it helps with your process.

I just wanted to make everyone aware of my fantasy/scifi/adventure novel Black Redneck vs. Space Zombies.

The book is a blast, but don't take my word for it. Check out the reviews.

Go buy it now or space zombies will eat a koala bear. And, he's so cute.

Have you tried anything by Laird Barron. The Croning stuck with me for a while, but I really love his anthologies.

I primarily read off my iPad. I do mostly night reading and it works just fine out of direct sunlight.

If I'm ever stuck somewhere and bored, I can always read the same book on my iPhone. It jumps me to just the right spot.

Yes, that's actually what I needed. Thanks.

Does anyone know of anyone who does honest reviews in exchange for a free e copy.

People with blogs would be ideal, but anyone willing to do a review on Goodreads or Amazon would work as well.

I'm in the same shape as you. So far I only have one review. I've been reaching out to various bloggers and reviewers in an attempt to get more, but so far I've only gotten one review and that was from a person I didn't even ask.

I did try a goodreads ad, but without any reviews it really hasn't been helpful. I would really suggest waiting until you get reviews until doing any ads. People just don't take a chance on something without a few reviews.

If I were a famous author...

I would go to Cons, and on the first day I would wear a very realistic fake mustache. Second day, no mustache. Third day, the mustache is back.

On the fourth day, you should wear a long beard to throw everyone off

And on the seventh day. Rest.

It's a timeless classic.

Yeah, rest is important because wearing fake mustaches is hard work. You'll probably just have to trust me on this.
