Always call into this store to check out the books. I bought a couple of Joe Abercrombie hardbacks for £1.99 a couple of months ago. They've revamped their web site and are also on FB.

Finally got around to buying a PS3 for the blu-ray player ;) so thought I'd better try at a few games so bought Oblivion secondhand for £10. Really enjoying this RPG. The Skyrim trailers look frackin' awesome!

Really enjoyed this post-apocalypse zombie tale. For me this book really took off in the last third. The final seen in the van between Georgia and Shaun was simply heartbreaking. Right, off to poke some dead things with a stick…

Book III - and really enjoying it. I personally like the mix of politics and zombies.

I think Altered Carbon is the best - proper cyberpunk noir sf coolness - but Market Forces is the one I enjoy the most.

My brother gave me his holiday-reading copy a couple of years ago, it's still on the TBR list but may move it up now ;)

And that is why Fantasy Faction is the book club for me! I really pay so little attention to what the media, the broadsheets or the Richard and Judy book club peddle. I know what I like and I read what I like :)

Zombies in FF? Are you kidding? I'm in!! ;)

Why not have a themes/genres/authors for these monthly reads? It would focus me and help me decide if I wanted to join in ;)

I too started reading Kindle on my iPhone but never enjoyed it at all; screen too small you seem to be turning the page every 5 seconds. Plus e-ink is so much easier on the eyes thean the iPod/iPhone screens. I have to state I'm firmly in the Kindle Wi-Fi camp.

I have not put music onto my Kindle, as I prefer FLAC to mp3 and have an iPod 80GB for music and podcasts.

Just finished it at the weekend. My first FF monthly book read that I've actually finished  ;)

I am a bit dissappointed in that it's the first book in a trilogy; prefer we had stand alone novels - do they exist in Fantasy fiction?

After a slow start the last third just rips along. With the final fight scene with the Bloody Nine a real page turner. I upgrated my GR review from a 3* to 4* for that final scene. Would I continue with the series? Probably.

'Source Code' Trailer

Battle: LA was ok, just too much CGI for me ;)

Danke @Shamrock :)

I have a hardcopy of this months book read and I think I still love to hold a book! ;) I think I will let price be the dictating factor when choosing the format ;)
