Writers' Corner / Posted my first short story on my blog
« on: May 16, 2018, 12:20:50 AM »
Since my publisher went out of business and my novel is now homeless, I needed to do something to fill the hole left by the hype I had been building for it. Thanks to my husband's encouragement, I've decided posting short stories on my blog every month would do the trick!

And I posted my first one today! I'd love if you would pop over and give it a read. Maybe leave a like and/or comment ? Thanks everyone!

Kaia would gladly give up her eternal blessing to be with Theo. But with the warning he brings on the day of her first Sculpting, she may have to give up more than she ever imagined.

Writers' Corner / Publisher picked up my book!
« on: December 29, 2017, 09:29:49 PM »
I'm so excited. My book is going to be published! It's a new, small press. Not vanity, they didn't ask for a dime. They have experienced editors. And the cover designer is great!

Here's a link to my book's page on their site. Cover is still in the works.

All the FF people have been a huge inspiration to keep me going! Seeing some of the crazy stuff you all read just proves there's a reader out there for every book  ;D

Writers' Corner / Looking for Beta readers please

A RIBBON IN THE FIRE is a 70K word speculative YA romance between a ruthless gang leader and a free agent who's willing to sellout his sister to save his own life.

It's set in our world, Midwest, post apocalypse, but has none of the traditional PA tropes. It's the frontier life of Hell on Wheels meets the gang life of Peaky Blinders with the YA appeal of Six of Crows and a magical twist.

Let me know if you're interested and I can send a pdf or file for the e-reader of your choice.

Thanks so much!
