Well, maybe not ever but pretty close in my opinion. It passes the litmus test for scifi, meaning that this is a story that couldn't be told without the science yet at the same time it's a very human story about determination against the odds. What say you?

Changa's epic journey continues! After returning from the east with his dhows filled with wealth, a sudden tragedy forces Changa and his crew to set out again. But this time Changa travels into Africa, experiencing fantastic adventures in the grand kingdoms of Kanem, Songhai and the Yoruba city-states. Follow Changa as he seeks to regain his fortunes and comes closer to his destiny!

'Between character and setting, Milton has crafted an amalgam of power and peril that defines the man – Changa – and the continent – Africa. This is Elder Africa, a land that shone brightly before the descent of the dark curtain of colonization and demoralization from which it continues to recover.'
-Charles R. Saunders, Founder of Sword and Soul. Author of Imaro and Dossouye

'I have read the entire Changa’s Safari series and have enjoyed the books immensely, but I must honestly say that this volume has elevated the series to masterpiece status and is a great contribution to Sword and Soul and to Epic Fantasy in general.'
-Balogun Ojetade, Author of The Chronicles of Harriet Tubman and Fists of Africa

This is what Sword & Sorcery should be! Changa is a worthy addition to the ranks of Sword & Sorcery greats.
-Fletcher Vrendenburgh, Sword and Sorcery Blogspot

Hi y'all,
My name is Milton Davis and I'm new to this group. For the past seven years I've written and published Sword and Sorcery and Fantasy based on African culture, history and tradition. I just recently published a new novel by Imaro author Charles Saunders as well. You can check out my books at www.mvmediaatl.com. And I promise I'll be active in the discussions here, not just here to blow my own horn.  ;D
