I've preordered my copy, cannot wait for it to arrive.

On the Elder Scrolls-related subject, there is also Kingdom of Amalur: The Reckoning coming out next February. Looks like it blurs the edges of  Elder Scrolls and a Fable kind of game. It's developed by the lead designer of both Morrowind and Oblivion, and is created by R.A. Salvatore (DemonWars) and Todd McFarlane (Spawn).

Could be an interesting follow-up, y'know, when you've finished Skyrim in, oh... June? (Big game, eh?)

RG.
And that is fantastic news, now I just need to find time to play all these games. Another problem is prying the control from my boyfriend's hands. He's getting Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty in November as well.

I only 'file share' when the stores make it absolutely impossible for me to get legally, such as 'This title is not available for your region: Africa' thanks Amazon but 'Africa' isn't a region it's a continent.

Sounds like you got a sweet deal there though.

To me King Robert was the biggest fail.  Littlefinger, Varys and Tyrion were all good choices. I didn't like Jaime at first either but he grew on me as the series went on.  Renly was nothing like I pictured him.  I pictured Ilyn Payne as a tall scary looking guy but in the show he was a little runt.  The Hound was good but the Mountain wasn't mountainy enough.
How could you not like King Robert, Mark Addy, was great. His booming voice for me was perfect! Orr

I like the actor, other than that horrid sitcom he was doing a few years ago.  Robert was supposed to be a great bull of a man gone fat but Addy is a small fat man...just couldn't picture him on the Trident swinging his great war hammer.  Couldn't picture him even being able to pick up a war hammer.
Hmm... I thought he was awesome but you are right he's not tall enough. His booming voice made up for it for me though.

Book covers are extremely important to me, just to prove a point I get my boyfriend, who is a designer, to go to the bookstore with me and pick out books for me to read judging just the cover, 9 times out of 10 I really enjoy the book.
But since I joined FF, you guys have been recommending so many books I can't keep up. Nevermind the ones I see and go "Ooo... I want."

Secondly, I'm not *predisposed* towards her gender, so I'd have to say beautiful.

Thirdly, I have a man-crush (no seriously) on Robb Stark. WOOOOOAAAAAHHH he's hot! Sorry, I had to.
It would have to be Jon Snow for me :)

Jon is cute and all, but Robb - I mean, he's the new Lord of Winterfell. He has a perpetual stubble of awesomeness. AND he looks good in fur.
'Moody bastard'. Enough said.

Anyone read Desperation? Friend of mine wants to buy it for me (we're huge SK fans) but is it worth it?
One another note, while browsing the bookshop today I saw the back cover of Desperation had recommendations of the other SK novels to read, or if you had read them that you would like this one. Very clever marketing.

I know! Ah I'm so excited I could die! Well hopefully play it and then die from the awesomeness.
