Thanks to everyone for reading it. I was a bit nervous about having people discuss it, but it wasn't too bad.

I'd like to think I've improved on a lot of the issues people had with it. If I wrote the book now, I would probably make a lot of different decisions. It's crazy to think that it's been almost six years since I wrote this book.

@Eclipse

Warrick, Berig, and Tylen were all some of my favorite characters to write, and it's not too much of a spoiler to say that I take their stories in some unexpected directions in the next three books.

@Lu Kudzoza

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I do definitely try for more utilitarian prose like Sanderson, and once again, I'd like to think I've gotten better with connecting the action scenes to plot and character development as I've grown as a writer. They are my favorite to write, and sometimes it's all too easy to get carried away.

Unfortunately, I do not see any of the options. I also downloaded the Kindle App, too but no luck so far :(

Can you see it for any books, or is it just mine that's giving you the issue? If so, I can send you a copy.

I'm not sure. I believe it's because I chose Turkey as my country. I might be doing something wrong. How can I be sure?

That might be it. I don't think Turkey is included in the distribution channels I had available to me through Amazon. I just looked for my book and couldn't even find it on Amazon Turkey. I can send an eBook copy of the book to you if you let me know your email in a private message.

I finished The Shadow King by Alec Hutson. I highly recommend the entire trilogy (starting with The Crimson Queen). It reminded me a bit of The Wheel of Time, but it was a lot easier to get through.

I don't have Kindle and can't see any ebook option. The only option I can see is paperback on Amazon.
You can read the ebook on any device, I think you only need the Kindle app. I've installed it on my Lenovo tablet for a couple of stories.

This is the link for the general ebook (Amazon UK), showing free:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Empire-Chains-World-Book-ebook/dp/B0727YT6SP/ref=tmm_kin_title_sr?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=

and the Amazon.com link:
https://www.amazon.com/Empire-Chains-World-Book-ebook/dp/B0727YT6SP/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=empire+of+chains&qid=1580133518&sr=8-1

Can you download it for free? It might be free for Kindle Unlimited (which I don't have). General Amazon page(.com) does not even show the Kindle version.

It should have an option below the Kindle Unlimited option where it says $0.00 to buy. On my PC, I also have the Buy now with 1-click option in the right sidebar, where it shows the print list price of $12.99, the digital list price of $0.99, and then the sale price of $0.00.

It also looks like it's free now in the UK store.

Earlier this month, I finished Soulsmith by Will Wight. I enjoyed it, but I'm still not enjoying this series quite as much as his Traveler's Gate trilogy.

Right now, I'm reading The Shadow King by Alec Hutson, the final book of the trilogy that started with The Crimson Queen. As usual, it's a great read.

Just dropping in to let everyone know that Empire of Chains will be free from the 27th through the 31st.

I finished Soulsmith by Will Wight. I liked this book, but I didn't quite love it. So far, I prefer the Traveler's Gate trilogy by Wight, though this is still a fun read with potential to get better and better.

Now I'm terrified.

I am planning on doing a free promotion later this month. I'll keep everyone posted on the dates.

I think I'd like to set my goal at 52 books. One per week should be doable.

I haven't done it the last couple of years, but I've had a lot going on.

I've been working on Soulsmith by Will Wight and Sufficiently Advanced Magic by Andrew Rowe. Both are good books, and I'm hoping I can recover my desire to read so I can do them the justice they deserve.

Just 15% into Senlin Ascends and I'm already finding it hard to continue. It reads like a travelogue written by a naive Traveller explaining his naivety. The quick flashback don't help the flow either.

Does it the pace pick up and plot moves?

Sanderson's Starsight is out and I may switch before getting back to this again.

It does start a bit slow, but it gets better and better as it goes on.

Which reminds me...I still haven't read the other books.

I didn't actually finish any books in November. Between my depression and my work schedule, I just haven't felt like reading.

I've been working on a couple of books, though.

Sufficiently Advanced Magic by Andrew Rowe

Soulsmith by Will Wight

I've enjoyed both. I just haven't felt much like reading in general.

How about Empire of chains? By  Ryan W Mueller For Feb.

Ok. If he is a forum member :)

Yep. Definitely a forum member. I just haven't been around much lately. Life's been tough this last year.

Hey! Let's turn things aroung together with the Read Along of Empire of Chains :)

Either that or you'll all hate it so much you'll ban me from the forum. Not that I'm ever insecure about my writing or anything...
