Howdy, everyone. It’s been a long three months, but I’m finally past many things sad and wonderful. Ready for a wee bit of normal. Send me down a cider, barkeep.

Welcome back! :)

I've just finished Supremacy's Bounty by some fellow called Bakutis. Awful, absolutely awful book that was no fun at all.  In fact, it's so awful you should all read it when it comes out to find out just how awful!!!

(It's actually really, really good)

That was a fun day :)  Hmm a very advanced infiltration bot I grant you...or maybe that was me...

7
^ If you remember, I've talked with you on skype once, so I know you're real and not a bot :P ;D

Hmm, I'm pretty sure @ScarletBea is a bot...

From what I gather, there were many horrid allegations from seemingly different 'people'...seperate accounts that had been set up for a year or more with this specific purpose in mind, all with backstories and web footprints and whatnot to make them seem genuine. A lot of work went into this plan to slander him.

And yeah, people know who did it, but Ed is not mentioning it for various legal reasons I imagine.

9
Yeah it's absolutely awful, and I can't imagine the over-stressed state of his nerves right now.

Awesome! This is next on my to-read list :)

Writers' Corner / Re: Medieval history books

It's such a wide subject, but I found The Time Traveller's Guide to Medieval England: A Handbook for Visitors to the Fourteenth Century was a quick, fun read that nevertheless immersed me into medieval society and gave a good feel of the time period.

Now that is a marvellous bit of work!

Same here, in my mind there are two separate channels of urban fantasy: the paranormal romance style (On the whole, easily spotted from the covers) and the likes of Dresden Files, Alex Verus, The Laundry Files, Felix Castor, Rivers of London etc

I'm so sorry @JMack I can't imagine how horrible this is.
We are all thinking of you right now.

So Amazon UK, in their arcane and unknowable wisdom, have put The Traitor God up as one their 'Deal of The Day' promotions on Kindle, setting the price at 99p for 24 hours.  At the moment it has a swish Best Seller badge because it's the #1 selling book in several categories  :o
