Knights Shadow by Sebastien De Castell.

Its taken me ages to properly start this book. A combination of things held me back till this week when ive finally sat and gotten into it.

I love it. I love my character too, Dari is awesome :D

Ive been in a mega reading rut for months and months now. Its driving me crazy, hopefully this will help put me back on track.

I've started rereading Small Gods, but am definitely down with a read of any other discworld.

Would we vote on which book we read?

Knights shadow by Sebastien De Castell.

So far so amazing! <3

Also, the blade itself. :)

Seconding Gregory maguire & juliette marillier because I have both and can read both easily, money is an issue lately. So buying new isn't much of an option.

Fantasy Book & Author Discussion / Re: Most Anticipated Books of 2015?

I'm so behind on my books. I barely read at all in 2014 and it's taken me months to read Words of Radiance so I'm most anticipating actually reading something in 2015. And will go through and wishlist every other book mentioned in this thread sooo keep 'em coming. ;)

Though Greatcoats #2 and perhaps, if Mr. Sanderson would be so kind, Rithmatist #2, would be very welcome.
That sounds exactly like me.

I haven't read or rather, finished a book in *Months* I keep starting books, not getting anywhere and just giving up. Need to just totally sink into something again.

For sure!

I'm waiting on the 2nd book, a reread of the First is a good idea before the 2nd arrives.

Love this series! :D

I thought about this a bit, some better answers.

  * What books are you determined to read in 2014 that you keep putting aside?
- I keep starting the first law trilogy and then getting sidetracked or just not picking it up again, so I want to finish that alongside emperors throne by Lawrence.

* Do you have a book target?
- approx 30 as a low target, I missed my target by miles last year, barely read a thing for half the year and it sucked. Hoping to break out of the rut and get back into it again.

* Are you planning to finally read a specific fantasy sub-genre that you just haven't gotten around to yet?
- not really, though I've never gotten into Sci Fi so I may try something from that direction and see how it goes.

Now gav is in China I can actually play my xmas present. He racked up 30+hrs on MY game the week after Xmas while I managed 3 -because he went to his mum's with the kids for an afternoon- really enjoying it. Not really been much of a gamer, this is the first game like this I've actually played.
I have origins to play through as well. :-D
