Both of you will be glad to know (actually, I'm sure EVERYONE will be ;)) that I've finished Red Country. That's right... I have read it. And you haven't.  :P

Reported to moderator.  ;D

I think the hound left off one vital piece of info.

No matter how drunk you are, no matter how good the idea sounds at 2am, the kebab is almost certainly a mistake.

Yes, the Green Apple Splatters alone are enough to make you regret it.  Then add the morning after breath... Plus the smell of the leftovers the next morning because you buy the largest kebab possible thinking you're hungry enough to eat it...  :-\

Haha, that is one of the best guides to Britain I have read in a long time!   :D

I'd also highly recommend The Haggis Hunt if you have time for a trip to Scotland.  The Haggis is a rare, elusive creature and is hard to find.  http://www.glenhaggis.com//

Hi Everyone,

New to the forums but been reading the website for a few weeks now.  I was made aware of FF by Idlewilder!

I'll be at Blackwell's this Friday too, looking forward to the event!

I'm current reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series (Book 11 - Knife of Dreams at the moment) and listening to Joe Abercrombie's Best Served Cold on audiobook!  Very much looking forward to meeting him.

Any suggestions of things to read or listen to on audiobook would be great!

Nice to meet you all.  ;D

Brugoth

P.S. Idlewilder is a jammy sod coz he has a proof copy of Joe Abercrombie's Red Country...  Hehe, just had to get that in mate  ;D...
