Monstropedia seems to have gone offline, alas, as as the Mythical Creatures list. I used to have D&D references as text files, but those appear to be gone too.

The problem, of course, is that there are so many different versions of everything, gathering it all together would be a monumental task, which would likely not happen for free, and too few would pay to have it.

You might consider grabbing a few outdated gamer manuals--AD&D, GURPS, Harn, whatever you can find cheap.

I started with searching on "rpg monster list" got further with "rpg bestiary" and finished by searching on specific game environments--that's how I got the GURPS one. In any case, you should find plenty to work with.
