Which novel got you into reading, which author would you like to thank Which novel got you into reading fantasy or non fantasy? which novel blow you away and said to yourself I want to read more like this!

When I was young I read Ronald Dahl and loved them but then I started High school and ended up reading  books like Buddy song I think it was even turned into a film it was so boring (sorry if you a fan)  I hated this book that I can still remember what it was called this was for English class and it would have put me off reading for good   :'( , I though all Adult/teenager books were like this at the time

Luckily in my late Teens I was given a present by a relative maybe for Christmas or birthday cant remember now anyway  it was the first book in the Death Gate Cycle by Weis and Hickman I put off reading it at first it was only a book like all the other boring books I've read so far in English class then one day bored I picked up read it and fall in love with characters  like Hugh the hand and Haplo it was much more exciting then the  school books we had to read in class then I went into a bookshop and looked for the names Weis and Hickman and found Dragonlance this brought me to even more stories

I stuck to Dragonlance novels at first but I did Eventually Branch out to other fantasy books then to other Genres like history fiction and mystery

I would like to thank Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman for getting me to read without them I wouldn't be reading now  :)
