Re: Terry Pratchett Memorial Read I read Wee Free Men but it is rather hazy and don't think I read any more of his Tiffany Aching novels (and suspect the book that was finished in Summer 2014 is the 5th Tiffany Aching book) so I nominate the Wee Free Men and will carry on with the rest of the cycle afterwards leading to the release of the possible 5th if anyone wants to join me?

Re: Terry Pratchett Memorial Read Other good suggestions would be Mort, Wyrd Sisters, Pyramids, Small Gods, Men at Arms, Going Postal or Nation.

And suggest we do Pterry month in May and Kitschies in June. But just my humble opinion.

Re: [MAY 2015] - Terry Pratchett Memorial Read - Nominations are open I second Wee Free Men, Mort or Nation. All would work nicely.

Re: [MAY 2015] - Terry Pratchett Memorial Read - Nominations are open
Would it matter much that I've never read any of his books? I take it they're not a continuous series, but are there any problems with just starting with one chosen at random?

No it doesn't matter. The veteren Discworlders are carefully trying to pick only good entry level Pratchetts.

Re: Goodreads Troll - Words of Radiance
Anyone care to come help slay this troll? I couldn't resist...  :P
What is exactly to "troll"?
In patents, a troll is someone who buys up patents in order to sue anyone over the slightest pretext to get a quick settlement.
Doubt that's the idea here.  ;)

Re: [JUN 2015] Kitschies Month - Nominations are open!
Another really good theme :D  I'm going to nominate:

Zoo City by Lauren Beukes

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Have we never done Zoo City? If not seconded. Great book.
