On it, too, but hoo boy. It's a one person shop (with an assistant). I can't imagine taking open submissions is going to last very long!

Not once word gets about I'd imagine, but with their top-tier publishing experience at Tor, Book Smugglers etc I expect they know what they are doing.

Good luck!

It's exactly because she has such a track record that I figure she'll soon be overwhelmed.

This is the third new publisher announcement I've missed over the years. I need to write a book and lay it aside, so as to have something ready when the new publisher pokes its head up. My WIP won't even see an editor until next January, by which time I expect Ms Gorinsky will be up to her ears in manuscripts. *sigh*

It just dawned on me that I'm about to join a piranha swarm.

Oh well.

Ha, I thought about submitting for all of a half second before deciding no, not because I don't think they'll be a great publisher, but because they must already have 800 manuscripts sitting in their inbox. I'm almost done with taking a crack at traditional publishing, I think. I may try again years down the road, but for now I'm pretty close to just staying indie and enjoying the small bit of success I've had. I wish anyone submitting the best of luck, however!
