HARPER VOYAGER U.S. IS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MANUSCRIPTS!
Come back here ( www.HarperVoyagerSubmissions.com ) on November 2nd at Noon Eastern to start submitting for this Fall’s open call!

While we’re always on the lookout for full-length fantasy, science fiction, and horror, we’re really in the market right now for Urban Fantasy and Military Sci-Fi. And be sure to check back throughout the year—we’ll be doing other calls for different genres as well!

Keep in mind we are looking for full length manuscripts between 60,000 and 90,000 words. The submission window closes on November 6th so get your manuscripts ready!

Not at all (have never seen a major publisher open to submission from only one geographical area), this is just the US branch of the publisher open to submissions.

I appreciated the head's up on this. Sent them my military SF after brutally trimming 12,000 words out of it.

Humorously enough, with the exception of one one 3,000 word scene that I hated to lose, I think the book is BETTER for losing the weight I chopped out. They were good scenes that developed characters I liked, but I realized on reflection they lessened the suspense in the main thread. So, even though I doubt anything will come of this submission, at least I managed to trim my book down a bit more for next time.
