I’m guessing everybody going to say romance.
According to some,* heroic deaths are admirable things

* Generally those who don't have to do it.Politicians and writers spring to mind

Not me hehe

To be fair, my latest attempts at "normal fiction" have been seriously bad, so I guess I'll say historical fiction.
At home in the Fantasy Faction forum!

I'm "She Who Reigns Over Us All In Crimson Cheer", according to Peat!

I don't really read much fiction outside of fantasy, but it's probably thrillers for me. Or murder mysteries.

There are two categories of books reference and fiction. Prove me wrong.

Historical Murder Mysteries, followed by general Crime/Mystery and general Historical

Sci-Fi smells of wee and should be banished to another part of the book emporiums.

I will oblige and say "romance". :D Though honestly, I prefer romance with speculative elements, or at least strong historical worldbuilding. Similarly, I don't mind a mystery with strong spec elements (and a nice romance element) but I don't know if "I like these genres in speculative fiction" counts properly as "what non-speculative genre do you like?" :D

I mean, you're not wrong, but it's also not helpful for finding more of the thing that you like to read.

I tend to make forays outside of the genre into biography and historical.
I will expand your TBR pile.

Crime/Detective and Mystery.
Kallor shrugged. 'I've walked this land when the T'lan Imass were but children. I've commanded armies a hundred thousand strong. I've spread the fire of my wrath across entire continents, and sat alone upon tall thrones. Do you grasp the meaning of this?'

'Yes' said Caladan Brood. 'You never learn'

Hah, I don't read anything else besides fantasy/ scifi or YA fantasy/ scifi, hahah. Not fiction at the very least. I used to read Historical Fiction but I think my time for that had passed. For non-fiction I read texts on laws and anything random that could prove useful.
