Fantasy Book Reviews - Thoughts on the books we read
« on: September 15, 2015, 11:43:29 AM »
I often write reviews for books that I've read on my website and I think I am not the only one here.
If you have written any reviews for fantasy books and posted them on the internet, please share the links here.

Swords & Dark Magic (part 2, part 3, part 4)
Sword & Mythos
Stealer of Flesh by William King
The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski
The Sword & Sorcery Anthology (part 2)
Death Angel's Shadow by Karl Wagner
Bloodstone by Karl Wagner
The Tombs of Atuan by Ursula Le Guin
The Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkoswki

I never did it, but I'm doing it on Goodreads now. Slowly reviewing what I have read last year as well.

It would be good if you posted the review link in any already existing thread as well as this thread. Those are the places where the fans of any particular book look first  to comment and discuss- even if in this example it has degenerated lately into being disappointed with fake publication dates.  ;D

I reviewed "Serial" here:
http://ohthesqualor.com/conflicting-evidence-a-review-of-serial/
Serial is NOT FANTASY.  Just so you guys don't click and get disappointed ;-).

Anyway, it is a podcast that follows the journey of a woman investigating a murder case that happened fifteen years ago.  It's all TRUE (non-fiction).  Anyway, the podcast was massively successful and won awards.  It actually was (and might still be?) the most downloaded podcast ever at the time.

Anyway, my verdict was that it's worth checking out if you've got a road trip or something.

Cheers,
Chris

No, please do not do this. We had issues before with people using Fantasy-Faction (Facebook Group and Forum) to advertise their blogs and books. Though I know that would not be the intention of you or Yora, it opens a door that we've had closed and locked for quite some time.

I'm really happy that this thread is here to share external reviews and blogs, but please make sure you give thoughts and contribute to discussions on the forum - as you have been doing wonderfully, to date - instead of forcing people to navigate away from the site and draw their own conclusions on your thoughts ^_^

Thanks both!

Sorry, Overlord, didn't realise, but now I understand what you mean.
