I have to admit I don't actually follow any particular author's blogs, but I do read the entries when pointed out to me. I think it's the "What's in my head at the moment" that possibly puts me off, because while I may like an author's books, I rarely care what they've had for breakfast, or what they think of a talk show host.

I do however like to read about their opinions on different aspects of the industry and what's going on in it. So when I see someone tweeting about a blog piece that I may be interested in, I tend to go and read it.

For completeness, my own ramblings are here: http://nopandas.com/archives/

Max Gladstone's blog is, is well-written and has some rather strange but very interesting topics. Much like his books, in that regard.

The author is happy to give advice on getting a mainstream publishing deal, and everything. Gee, what a nice geezer.

I am a reluctant fantasy author who thinks too much and writes too little. I love to read great fantasy books and discuss philosophy. | My novellaSplatterism | Free fantasy novella chapter:

I've got a couple of blogs kicking around.

Mist and Shadows - a semi-infrequently updated blog sometimes about writing.  And stuff.

Tales From A Thousand Worlds
-  a recently started site where I'm releasing my short fiction in a serialised style (influenced by webcomics).
The Lands of Mist and Shadows - http://mistandshadows.com/

Ilona is really generous with the insights, too, I've learned some things from that blog.
