Given the absence of publishing on the main site, I've sought another route to spread the word about the winning story, and we're now publishing the first 120-odd words of each story on the FF facebook group, with a link to the actual full story post in here.
Let's see how that works :) *fingers crossed*
(thanks, @Bender!)

The next one was Jul/Aug 2018, theme "Games", winner @Alex Hormann

Thanks @ScarletBea and @Bender

Not sure it will work, but appreciate it.

I was wondering about the copyright of the stories here, actually. I'm sure there used to be something about it in the rules. Does Fantasy Faction hold first publication rights, or does it stay with the writer?

Asking because I'm thinking of throwing some of my older entries up as a podcast.

"Submitting a story counts as published. The author retains all rights to their work."

I see this in OP for all the contest threads.

You're welcome.
I'm willing to try anything ;D

Your story got a 'like' from Dyrk Ashton, I think I've seen his books around, no?

And I noticed that if people comment it jumps to the top of the list (also if they like it?? not sure), so maybe those who are members can help with that?

He also posted the next one, Sep 2018, theme "Meetings", winner @OnlyOneHighlander.

And Bender already replied to your question, the author has all rights, good luck with your podcast and don't forget to advertise it here when it's done :)

Did they just decide they don't want to do that? They dumped a whole bunch of holiday microfiction on the site recently. :/

I'm not saying anything except that after seeing exactly that, I wrote to Jennie again, asking. I've had no reply.

Sorry that must be really frustrating!
