The best story of 2016 - vote now!
« on: April 01, 2017, 10:30:19 AM »
For the 3rd time we are choosing a Best of the Best story from our writing contests!
In 2016 12 stories won our monthly contest (there were no ties in the voting).

Everybody has three votes and I'm going to run the poll for 90 days - so you have plenty of time to read all the stories and to decide which one (or two or three) you liked best.

Be sure to tell everybody that here are 12 top stories (each one already won a contest!) that can be read for free - we just ask you to vote. :)

Here are the direct links to each story:

January - Breaking the Fourth Wall: "But, I’m a F#@%ing Dragon!" by m3mnoch

February - Fanfic: "Mistaken Identity" by Rukaio_Alter

March - Nightmares: "A Gift for the Nightmare Man" by tebakutis

April - Dystopia: "Everything in Frame" by tebakutis

May - Well known fairy tales from a different POV: "The Magical Lamp" by Lanko

June - Random Wikipedia Article: "One Last Drink" by tebakutis

July - Story Generator: "Conan meets Nietzsche" by Lanko

August - Potions and Elixirs: "Goldenfoot, The Brave" by night_wrtr

September - Pirates: "The Rule of the Curse" by SugoiMe

October - Corpses: "Where there's a will" by TOMunro

November - 1750: "Youthful Optimism" by Lordoftheword

December - Dragons: "The Fishwife's Tale" by Jmack

Thanks, @ScarletBea! :)

@m3mnoch and @ArcaneArtsVelho, please vote again, I had to remake the poll because of the voter visibility problem.

Same.
Everything I wrote above is pure conjecture. I don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm a perfectionist but not very good at anything. That's why I rarely finish things.

9 voters so far. Leading story has four votes, so all's pretty much open.

And yay for Goldenfoot the Brave!!! :D
The best story of 2016!

I missed the end of this voting hehe

And I like to see the votes so spread out (2 stories in second place and 4 in third place), it does mean we had very good stories winning throughout the year :)
