I think it's a good idea. And I'm not just saying that because I have a horse in the race. It will also make the contest a bit more visible and may encourage some extra entries and votes.

I had already read most of the winners so I only had to go back to the first 5 or so in the year.  Lots of great stories. My votes are in!
