The Standard of the monthly contest is quite high, I'm quite fussy apparantly so must be high praise coming from me  ;D

I really think the writer's of the contest could pick their favourites for a contest anthology book.

I wish we would do this @Eclipse, that's a great idea!

Anyone knows about self-publishing who'd like to do this? Then maybe we could use the profits for the forum :)

I (self-)published things before (private and in an academical context) and don't underestimate it: This will be an incredible amount of work (a.k.a. a shit-ton).

This said, I really like the idea and toyed with it for years. I don't have the time to do it myself but I may be able to advise those who would like to do it - if there are enthusiastic folks with too much time on their hands. ;)

It's a fair amount of work (many hours), but the job can be parceled into tasks.
Interior formatting (*shudder*)
Cover art
Interior art, possibly
Blurb (*more shuddering*)
Marketing (*still more shuddering*), including onto which platforms to publish
Finance - figure out how to collect funds and how to disburse them
Editing

So, do we have a score of volunteers?  :P
